American Flag Outdoors

We are a small, veteran-run grassroots organization built on the belief that no one should have to face their struggles alone. Born from experience and driven by purpose, we are a community of those who understand—those who have walked through the fire and emerged with a mission to help others do the same.

Our focus is on giving back, not just in words, but in action. We connect people to real support—resources, guidance, and a network of professionals who truly understand the weight of trauma. Through shared experiences, unwavering camaraderie, and a commitment to lifting each other up, we create a space where healing isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable.

Recent Ways We Have Helped

On March 9th, The Heavy Hitters Project helped a Marine Corps veteran cover emergency costs needed to help his best friend, Hachi the Husky. Our community hosted a charity stream where we gamed, had deep talks, and kept the cameras rolling for 20 hours with a goal of raising enough to help pay off this unexpected bill. Supporters came through in a big way, not just reaching the $748 goal, but exceeding it at $848 with contributions from 14 unique donors! Hachi means the world to our veteran, and his diagnosis of heart cancer blindsided him. While transitioning out of the Marine Corps, this vet faced some seriously tough times. As he navigated housing insecurity and the turbulent military-to-civilian shift, his two huskies helped keep hopelessness at bay, giving him a reason to live just one more day, many days in a row. We’re honored to have helped Hachi, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to all donors and viewers for their support. Sometimes, that looks like helping a guy pay vet bills so he can focus on loving the dog that saved his life. "Just one more" is our motto at The Heavy Hitters Project. It serves as a reminder that if we can help "just one more" person resist the siren call of suicide, we can, in time, keep the beast at bay. The reasons behind suicide are complex, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Heavy Hitters treats each individual or organization we assist as a unique case, working alongside them to accomplish our shared mission of stopping suicide through community support. Remember, it’s one family, one fight. With teamwork and determination, anything is possible. Semper Fi!

Mental Health Live Streams on Twitch and Discord

Every week, we run live mental health streams, alternating between Wednesdays and Mondays, where we open the door for real conversations—raw, unfiltered, and judgment-free.

They consist of veterans, first responders, military family members and civilians having sincere round table discussions.

We’ve been there for veterans on the edge, talked civilians down from crisis, and created a space where pain is met with understanding, not silence.

What we are doing is taking real action.  We create a place for everyone to come together and discuss our mental health journey.

No red tape. No politics. Just real people showing up for each other.

We’re building more than awareness.  We’re building a lifeline.

Join our community built on respect, support, and genuine connection. We're here to lift each other up, listen without judgment, and guide you toward the right resources when you need them.

This is what Krista, a member of our Discord has said about the community she has found with us-

"For me personally before I met y'all I was so lonely I moved out here two years ago and only have one friend here in town because I don't get out much and I'm always with my kids, so y'all have a help with my mental health and gave me some adults to talk to and to bull**** around with because my coping mechanism. I either turn everything into humor or I turned it into anger. So this has really helped me laugh more...so many people were willing to help me succeed so I'm very grateful for that"

One Family One Fight

We carry the weight together. We hit back together. We move forward together.

Heavy’s Hitters uses Twitch fundraising to give back to organizations doing the hard work on the ground, supporting veterans and those in need. Through charity streams, community engagement, and interactive events, we rally our audience to raise funds for causes that align with our mission, ensuring resources go directly to those making a real impact.

Our discord server, Heavy's Hitters, is our central hub of communication within the organization.  It's where we hold live streams, charity events, discuss various amount of topics, share information and its where individuals can come together and share their stories, and hear from other people with similar experiences. If Heavy's Hitters had a family room, this would be it!
